The Elysian Drama Clubs

 You may be finding it difficult to find space on your school timetable for the required curriculum-based drama classes or you may have encountered problems in covering the new government guidelines on after-school provision. We can offer support during lunchtimes and after school to help alleviate these problems. We offer Lunchtime and After-School Drama Clubs to meet the needs of your pupils.

 Our Drama Clubs are workshop-based. The groups create their own scenarios which could lead to either creating a play or to giving the participants the chance to express their feelings while experimenting with being another character, allowing them to act out new situations and new ways of doing things. This is a useful method of growing and developing while having fun.

 We all use drama skills throughout our lives, by acting out different aspects of our personalities depending on the situation. In education, drama is a useful implement to help develop confidence and teamwork and to learn to trust others. It also helps to develop language skills, such as reading, writing and speech.

 Costing per hour: £40.00 over a 10-week term-time course. Based on a minimum of 20 students at £2.00 per hour. Payable at start of course to The Elysian Performance Group.
